We want to build good relationships with potential investors to enable a thorough knowledge and understanding of their strategy and team and ensure investors understand the NorthEdge story well ahead of any future potential fund raise.
We believe strong relationships and best in class communications with our investors play a fundamental role in successful investments. We work closely with our investors and are open and inclusive about our operations, and the underlying performance of investments.
Since 2012, NorthEdge has raised over £540m. Fund I reached a Final Close at the full fund size of £225m in March 2013. Fund II, held the Final Close in March 2016, reaching the institutional hard cap of £300m in four months. Fund II received overwhelming support from both existing and new institutional investors with 57% of commitments coming from Europe, 37% from the USA and 6% from Australia.
NorthEdge has raised funds from leading, global blue-chip institutional investors including Akina, CNP Assurances, European Investment Fund, Industriens Pension, MLC Investments, Pathway Capital, Realdania, and West Yorkshire Pension Fund.
