Manchester and Leeds based mid-market private equity firm NorthEdge Capital has appointed Jon Pickering as a director in the new business team
In his new role, Pickering, who will be based in NorthEdge’s Manchester office, will be responsible for deal origination and leading new investments across the North of England.
Pickering joins after five successful years at LDC in Manchester, where he recently held the role of investment director. Pickering has over ten years experience in M&A, having spent time at both Deloitte’s and Grant Thornton’s corporate finance teams, where he was involved in a number of successful private equity investments and exits.
NorthEdge Capital invests between £5m and £30m of equity in ambitious businesses with enterprise values of £10m to £100m, headquartered in the North of England. NorthEdge is led by partners Grant Berry, Andy Ball, Ray Stenton and Dan Wright.
